5:30 am Swiper welcomed the Pax to F3 – Fitness, Fellowship and Faith – reminding them of the mission to Plant, Serve and Grow small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.
Then I covered the 5 core principles of F3. 1) Open to ALL men. 2. Always Free. 3) Always held outdoors, 4) Lead in a rotating fashion and 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT).
We had no FNGs.
Credo: Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him.
Swiper reminded the PAX that I am not a professional. Modify as necessary. Workouts are all a suggestion. From this point forward there is a real risk of injury. Swiper explained the Route and said we would stop at Cederdale each time we crossed it and would pick up the six and do some workouts.
5:33 am Beatdown
We started running. I said let’s head East on the Papio Trail and we would head south on 72nd Street. I started running with Schrute and Sponge Bob. We stopped 3 times as we crossed Cederdale and each time we did
- 33 Merkins (34 in the middle set)
- 33 LBCs (34 in the middle set, and Farva did them IC)
We it was all said and done, Schrute and I up front got 4.25 miles and others got different distances. We all did 100 Merkins and 100 LBCs.
6:12 6MOM
We ended with two loops of Sarpy Slammers IC, so 24 total.

COT The Perfect Father

For my COT I read from the book the “Perfect Father.” The book talks about the roles that Fathers play in their lives.
Fathers: Remember the roles you play:
1. Provider – Provide for the needs of your family
2. Pastor – You are the spiritual head of your household and the primary driver of fostering God’s love in your household
3. Husband – You primary role to model the behavior of how to love your wife for your children….and when Mamma’s happy, everyone is happy!
4. Counselor – Listen, guide, be available, provider guidance, advice and direction
The premise is that Dads aren’t perfect…but they aspire to be!
Swiper led the group out in prayer.

AYE! Swiper
