AO: Copperfield Football

Weather: The weather was a bit chilly this morning… The table was set with a brisk 24 degrees and no wind.

The intro and disclaimer were given…. With a chill in the air, we didn’t waste any time dealing the cards.

PAX moseyed to the football field for a quick warmup…

PAX kicked off the T-H-A-N-G…. House Of Cards

The thang was a good ole deck of cards workout.  Pax performed 5 exercises at each stop…. After each game was complete, we ran goalpost to goalpost and started the next set.  The number of reps was dictated by the number value of the card turned over.  This has proven to be a bit difficult in colder temps.  The inability to hit the “next” button on my phone, while wearing gloves, lead me to aimlessly jab at it with my nose……. Also difficult when there is an icicle hanging off of my beak.  Exercises performed were Merkins/MTN Climbers/Sumo Squats/Big Boy Situps with Jump Lunges and Burpees in the wildcard slot.  We performed 376 reps of each exercise plus the wilds.  I am not sure if this was enough!!  There was more mumble chatter and banter than ever before.  Anything from Wait Time dreaming of a breakfast cheeseburger to Placebo’s infatuation with the shake weight motion to the Plague’s announcement of his newly sanctioned F3Omaha podcast…. More on this in the near future.  All in all, it was a fantastic workout with friends.  From all of the laughing, my cheeks hurt worse than any other body part.  We sprinkled in a few extra burpees to cap it off….
