5:30 am    Swiper welcomed the Pax to F3 – Fitness, Fellowship and Faith – reminding them of the mission to Plant, Serve and Grow small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.

Then I covered the 5 core principles of F3.  1) Open to ALL men. 2.  Always Free.  3) Always held outdoors, 4) Lead in a rotating fashion and 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT).

We had no FNGs.

Credo: Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him.

Swiper reminded the PAX that I am not a professional.  Modify as necessary.  Workouts are all a suggestion.  From this point forward there is a real risk of injury. Swiper informed the group we would mosey.

5:31 am      Warm-a-rama

We started running.  I said let’s head East on the Papio Trail. I stayed back with the six.  Turned on the tunes with my 39g by Nox Gear.  Solid.

5:39 am    Pre-Thang

We ran down the trail East, then over the creek, and then ran East to Eagle Ridge Park.  It was about 1.75 miles down.

5:47 am     The Thang

We went to the parking lot for Eagle Ridge park and I told the boys that we would tie our record for Motivators today. Some said, “5?” Haahahahhahahahaha……..we would do 10…..the first Set was tough, the second and third, starting to feel it….I was playing music and it was hard to keep the cadenance.  I messed it up like 2-3 times.  Ugh.  Lots of HIMs bailing out.  Calves on fire.

We then ran across the bridge to the playground.

  • We would hang on the bar for a 2o count
  • Then do 2o Groiners
  • 2o Broad Jumps
  • We would then run back to the shovel flags

6:12        6MOM

We ended with 15 Sarpy Slammers

6:13am    The Name-a-rama was completed – see above for list of those who posted.

COT        The Butterfly Effect

Swiper led the group out in prayer.

AYE! Swiper
