I arrived on site at 4:45 and stopped at dropped my cones off Glenn Street. Then I parked my truck by the tennis courts, and set up my 8 cones on the Skateboard park.
I then parked, planted my flag and then noticed that there was about 5 mins to go and the amount of pre runners was unbelievable. Too many to count. And Pre Ruckers. I was proud.
When we returned from the pre run, I ran to the restroom and the door was locked! Luckily a few Pax pointed me towards a port a potty by the baseball fields.
At 5:30am I welcomed the Pax to F3 – and explained it is Fitness, Fellowship and Faith – reminding them of the mission to Plant, Serve and Grow small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.
I covered the 5 core principles of F3. 1) Open to ALL men. 2. Always Free. 3) Always held outdoors, 4) Lead in a rotating fashion and 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT).
We had no FNGs.
I covered the Credo: Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him. We would test this out today, moving around and leaving no man behind!…….I am not a professional, everything from this am would be a suggestion. Feel free to modify as necessary.
I explained to the Pax this is my first time on the Q at The Armory and my first time here in a while. Let’s Mosey to the East and stop at the practice football field.

COT
Jesus Fed the 5,000 people, but only 500 followed him after lunch.
He had 12 disciples but only 3 prayed with him in the Garden before his arrest.
Then only 1 stood with him at the cross.
Closer you get to the cross, the smaller the crowd becomes.
We are in this world but not of this world. Often times, the write things, are not the most popular. Look at F3, its hard, how many guys come out once and fall off? It’s too early, its too cold, its too hot, I don’t like all the sharing, I want to workout out alone, don’t want to workout at all.
F3 reminds me of following Christ – folks often fall off or don’t stick with it, but if you do, the rewards are beyond measure. Share your love of Christ or your love of F3 OR BOTH Today. Stay in the Small crowd!
Aye! Swiper
