COT:
The theme of the day was “I’d rather be honest than impressive.” I heard it on a yoga video and it stuck with me. I don’t even know if it should be cited to anyone of note. The Q Source discussion to follow the beatdown was going to focus on the Jester, so I thought it was fitting.
If I am being completely honest about myself, and not concerned with how impressive I may or may not be to others, I have a lot to work on. I need to be more honest with myself and those closest to me regarding behaviors–both positive and negative. I need to stick to commitments I make. I’m really good at coming up with plans for self-improvement, and not so great with the follow through. As an example, I shared with the PAX that I had a strong desire in 2023 to get much more into cardio. I was going to pre-run more and start posting at the running AO’s. Today’s beatdown was only my 2nd run of 2023…
I haven’t been posting much lately and there isn’t really an excuse for it, even though I have plenty that I come up with. I was reminded today how much I receive from the men of F3. They fill me with love, energy, positivity, and (most importantly) accountability.
Here’s to good days and better tomorrows!
Blessings and SYITG,
Mother Goose
