Ferdinand welcomed the PAX and introduced himself, F3’s Mission, The Three Fs, 5 Core Principles, F3’s Credo, Disclaimer and asking if there are any FNGs. No FNGs.
The Thang: Pond to Pond x 4
I advised the PAX to get into small groups with runners of their similar pace and to push each other! We all left the shovel flags at 5:18 AM and we ran in groups around both one pacific place park ponds. This is a 1-mile loop. I advised the PAX to give a thirty second burst every half mile and then to settle back into their normal pace. Ferdinand called Omaha around 5:50 and turned around to start picking up the six and we all ran back to the shovel flags together.
We covered over four miles!

COT – Ferdinand kicked off his COT by asking each PAX why they showed up to the beatdown this morning. The answers varied and were all good responses! He then explained how proud he is to represent the F3 logo (vehicle sticker, logo on merchandise, referring to friends/family/colleagues, etc.) and he challenged the PAX to ask themselves how many other teams/organizations are they apart of on a weekly/monthly basis that they are proud to represent? He took it one step further and asked them to be the change to help guide these teams/organizations to get to a point where you are proud to represent them. It is important that we bring home positive energy and I bet there is not too many mornings you come home from an F3 beatdown with a negative attitude! Be The Change!
