Greeting
In true Sarpy Swagger style, Pax began wrapping up pre-runs, Smurphs and other pre-beatdown activities to join the group at 6 AM. It was a great feeling to be back down at The Pit to see many familiar faces and some other salty veterans that work out primarily in Sarpy County. In true tradition, the Mission Statement, 5 Core Principles and especially “Modify as Necessary” was stated due to the high amount of humidity in the air.
Before setting off, I explained to the Pax how the beatdown was laid out in two halves:
- The First 50 – 13 stations performed as 1 large group together
- The second 50 – Is done in small groups along with the Dips Pull- Ups(or Derkins), Step-Ups and burpees
And 100 yard Bear Crawl to finish it off
Patriot Games Beatdown –

Most Groups performed the 76 Burpees and finished with the 100 yard Bear Crawl to complete the 1776 Patriot Games CSAUP
Announcements were plentiful and cheerful and will be repeated throughout the upcoming week.
COT – History lessons- we all have them, especially in life. The biggest lesson in history is that we can’t change the past and just need to continue forward. To continue forward in a positive manner. We move forward by either forgiveness or trying to resolve. Don’t dwell on any fault. Make that fault history. Learn from it and keep accelerating.
