Pax: Crab Cakes and Selleck
QiC : Ethanol
On a most wonderful morning, The Maize was coated in post 4th of July haze. That may be the reason that so many PAX couldn’t find their way. As I stood there, all alone, like the last kid to get picked at kickball, I was faced with a decision….. to push on and run the workout solo or to head back to the house and climb back in the fart sack. The hard right proved to be the right call. As I started to mosey, I saw the sight of Crab Cakes busting around the corner. I circled back and grabbed him for a beatdown…. We would later be joined by Selleck, at roughly the 0600 mark… he claims that he was there “doing his own workout” until he caught sight of us running the Maize…. Jury is still out on that one.

We called Omaha this morning on our workout. The original plan was to knock out a bear crawl “ROF”… with the limited number of folks, we changed gears and converted to a string of pearls around the lake.
We started out at the shovel flag and hit the trail…. we got in just under 2 miles and managed a pretty solid beatdown.

Somewhere in between the middle of the workout and the end, Selleck showed up looking fresh and ready to run. His presence was met with open arms… and some fart sack comments. All the same, we did not leave him where we found him… we scooped him up and he helped us bring it in strong.

Announcements: Abide is still in need of donations. Water, Gatorade, Snacks, Sports Equipment, time. Also, I need to line up some Q’s for the months of July and August. If you are anyone is interested, for any scheduled workouts, please reach out to a site Q or to Wait Time.
Close: Ethanol closed out with a prayer. Just a reminder to everyone to leave everything better than it was when you got there. STAY HUMBLE AND KIND IN EVERYTHING THAT YOU DO! Thanks to everyone for a great week of fun. I don’t have the final numbers, but Suncoast has started something that could take off like wildfire, in the 1776 Patriot Games. Great showing this week in Omaha, and all across the F3 Nation!!
