F3Omaha gathered and celebrated Independence Day in the gloom on July 4.  Ethanol brought the Patriot Games from F3Suncoast.  The CSAUP* workout had scorching heat and Ethanol threw flames with the routine.  After a brief welcome and disclaimer, the PAX moseyed to the soccer field.

Warm-A-Rama

  • SSH x 20 IC
  • String Rippers x 12 IC
  • Mountain Climbers x 20IC

With a brief warm up in the bag, we moseyed to the beatdown.  The PAX were offered two options – partnering to complete 16 exercises at 100 reps/exercise, split 76 burps, run a mile individually, and bear crawl 100 yards individually.  By partnering, the PAX would earn Patriot status.  All PAX declined partners and elected to the entire workout solo.  Completing the solo workout achieved the CSAUP status of American Eagle.

The Thang: Patriot Games

The PAX ran 0.5 miles to begin the workout.  When they returned to stations, they completed 50 reps of: Merkins, LBCs, Moroccan Nightclubs, Pullups, Squats, Mountain Climbers, Overhead Claps, Dips, Leg scissors, Step ups, American Hammers, Plank jacks, lunges, Shoulder Taps, High Knees and SSH.

After completing the first set, the PAX ran 0.5 miles to complete the mile requirement.  Upon completing the run, the PAX did two sets of 25 reps of the above exercises.  This completed the 100 rep requirement.

The PAX shifted to the 100 yard bear crawl.  Each man chose a different method (# number of sets/reps) for completing the 100 yard bear crawl and 76 burpees.  T-claps to the PAX for completing all requirements for CSAUP American Eagle status.

Selleck acknowledged Ethanol and Boom Boom for serving our country and protecting our freedoms.  Wait Time closed the workout with a prayer.

It was an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with each of you today. Greatness abounds.

Grace & Peace,
