Title: “G String 1 year”

PAX: (15) Chernobyl, Stranglehold, Boss Hog, Fun DIp, Simmons, Parsecs, Dozer, Levy, Sweet Roll, Invictus, Duracell, Harding, Beans, Irish Car Bomb

Q: G String

There were several prerunners and ruckers, and G String failed to document the individuals.

At 0515, G String welcomed the PAX to Mount Olympus, stating F3 stands for fitness, followship, and faith.  He covered 5 core principles – it’s free, open to all men, always outside, it’s led in a rotating fashion, and it ends in a circle of trust.  He told them that we leave no man behind and no man where we found them.  G String stated the Mission Statement to plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.  He claimed to not be a professional and asked that PAX modify as necessary.  He asked if there were any FNG’s and there were none.

G String also noticed a mustache on Simmons and confirmed that this was the only new stache of the group.

Warm a Rama:

  • 10 x Cherry Pickers (IC)
  • 10 x Tappy Taps (IC)
  • 10 x Big Ones (IC)
  • 10 x Side Straddle Hops (IC)

The group moseyed towards the field, stopping at the top of the mountain for a prething.

  • 6 blockees
  • 14 V ups (with coupon)
  • 22 hydraulic squats (with coupon)

The group then proceeded the mosey down to the field. G String explained the workout to the group. The PAX chose their partners (groups of 2).  Each  started at different levels.  Collectively between the partners of 2, they were to complete the number of reps for each exercise. While one was performing reps, the other performed a mode of transportation for a set distance, returning to the exercise cone to trade off the other partner.

  • Level 1: 365 derkins/side shuffle
    • – murder bunny to level 2 when complete
  • Level 2: 365 goblet squats/mosey
    • – murder bunny to level 3 when complete
  • Level 3: 365 curls/Bernie Sanders
    • – murder bunny to level 4 when complete
  • Level 4: 365 tri extensions/Bear crawl
    • – rifle carry to level 1

I shared a short story about knowing your value. A grandfather’s watch was given to the grandson by his dad. His dad asked him to go to the jewelry store and see what they offer to buy it. They offered $150 because it’s too old. He said go to the pawn shop. They offered $10 because it’s too worn down. He said go to the museum. He returned and said that they offered $500,000 for this rare antique watch. This was a lesson to the son to know that the right place values him in the right way. Don’t find yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you’re not valued. Those that know your value appreciate you. Don’t stay in a place that doesn’t know your value. Moral of the story is that your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see it. .

G String prayed us out.

Aye!
