Site Q Selection Process:
Unknowingly 3 weeks prior to launch Hard Hat and Griswold cornered me at HyVee asking if I’d want to be a site destination and site unknown (on my end anyway). Thought about it talked to Chucky as he was starting Catalyst at the same time and ended up diving in headfirst.
Launch Day:
11/4/2023 Launch Day was miserable. I remember looking over at Tater and Vandelay and they looked like they were going to kill me after rolling around on the turf in the freezing rain. It took a long time before the respect group came back to The Feast.
Crowdsource showing up at Fancy Feast:
3/24/2023 Crowdsource’s first Fancy Feast post 3rd post overall. I noticed he was hanging out with Peg Leg (Fancy Feast OG FNG) so I kept an eye on him and this new guy kept posting every Friday at FF. I believe Muffs and Robinhood played a part in his EH as well.
Asking Crowdsource to be the next site Q:
At Mainstage (6 months ago) I walked up to CS truck and I wanted to run the idea by him so he had time to think about it.
Four Goals for the site
- Get Smelly Cat our site brethren on the Q schedule
- Lead the site with a 6’s mentality
- That doesn’t me take it easy
- That means work to improve and encourage the man next to you
- Create an environment for FNG’s to thrive and return for a 2nd post
- New site in a new sector, I wanted to figure out how to create “regulars”
- Identify a site Q that embodies the 5 core principles and is always there for the 6
- Attention to detail/ Creative/ Listener
- Notes on notes

- Already has ideas on how to enhance the experience at the site

- The first thing that came to mind when hearing this was LB, and the way in which he has lead Fancy Feast this past year.
- My 1st post here occurred March 24th. 3 Days into my F3 Journey.
- I didn’t know many guys that morning (besides Peg, Robin Hood, Muffs)….get it Crowdsource.
- But I could tell from my verst first interaction with LB that this was a place I could feel comfortable, included, and encouraged as I figured out where I stood within this F3 Matrix.
- I was comfortable here because LB was here.
- And he wasn’t here for himself, he was here for us. The PAX.
- A tangible display of Selfless Leadership.
- I’ve been back 22x since that first post.
- My Primary Goal & Ambition as the next site Q at Fancy Feast is to keep this Legacy alive.
- I’ll do my damndest to make LB proud. Equally important, I feel whole-heartedly in maintaining this balanced environment to see guys grow and strive, regardless of where they’re at in their F3 or fitness journey.
