07/10/2023 – Wolf Den: Don’t Do What You’ve Always Done
PAX: Schnitzel, Tea Party, Vespa, Greenhouse, Hei Hei, Barn Door Q: Barn Door I arrived early to complete a Smurph, when I arrived back at the flags location, I was a little worried as there were only 2 PAX there and no shovel flag yet. It was apparent it was a Monday morning as several more PAX arrived just in time to join us. 6 PAX arrived at the Flags and heard the Core principles, Mission, credo, and disclaimer. We stayed right there in the parking lot to jump into Warm-a-rama which consisted of 15 IC each: SSH, Tappy Tap, Imperial Walkers, and Cherry Pickers The PRE-THANG We used the parking lot to complete some agility exercises. We completed the following agility moves twice in the parking lot to get even more warmed up.
- High Knees
- Butt Kicks
- Super Marios
- Lunges
- Sprint (once)
The THANG I encouraged the PAX to partner up as we started a string of pearls and to discuss areas in their lives they would like to improve then see if the partner had any advice. Exercises were completed about every 0.25 mile.

- Diamond Merkin to Superman – 15
- Groiners – 15
- Single Leg Glute Bridge – 10 each leg
- Dog Pissers – 10 each leg

Circle of Trust: “If you always do what you’ve always done, You’ll always get what you’ve always got.” – Henry Ford I encourage all PAX to think about their current lives and come up with at least one area, one thing they wished was different. Could be work, could be addictions, could be weight, whatever it may be for you. Then think of ways or things that you can do differently than you are currently doing to make those changes or improvements you wish were different. Then reach out to one of your brothers in the Gloom and share your strategy, accept any feedback they may have to offer, and then hold each other accountable until that improvement is realized, or it is determined that strategy is not going to work. If that is determined, then come up with a different strategy. In life progress can be slow, but as long as you are better today than you were yesterday, you are making progress. Greenhouse led us out in prayer. Aye! Barn Door
