40 Degrees, windy, dark, and cloudy
Pax were welcomed by Side Dish at 5:15 sharp with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values. No FNGs were present so the Pax got off to a quick start.
Warm-a-rama:
Pax moseyed from the Paradise parking lot to the bank/law firm parking lot for Warmarama. Warmarama consisted of:
15 Side straddle hops, IC
15 High Knees, IC
15 Windmills, IC
No Prething, Pax immediately jumped into a highly experimental course planned by QIC

At each red dot, Pax stopped for a ten count, merkins, air squats, and LBCs. The road back featured a previously undiscovered hill from the Papio Trail up to 96th. Pax arrived back at the shovel flags at slightly tardy and finished with a quick round of Banana Boats.

COT:
I was at a conference last week and two of the breakout session speakers stood out in particular for different reasons. The first talked all about themselves. How great they were, how successful they were, how perfect they had been to get to that point in their lives. Impressive, but meaningless, especially in relation to the second speaker. Their talk was all about humility. No one wants to hear from the know-it-all. They will talk regardless of who or if anyone is listening. The humble person, on the other hand, will listen and people will wait for them to speak. We have the chance to learn from humility and from living an imperfect life. Perfection can be the journey, but it cannot be the destination.
