Q: Safe Ride

Safe Ride and Vandelay welcomed the PAX to F3 Omaha.   The Mission Statement and Disclaimer were given.  5 FNGs were welcomed to the group!

WARM-A-RAMA

The PAX took a quick mosey over around to the grass behind the shovel flags. From there, Safe Ride and Vandelay led the men in the following exercises:

  1. SSH
  2. Windmills
  3. Tappy Taps
  4. Tater Taps
  5. Sun Gods
  6. Hillbilly Squats

PRE-THANG

After counting off in 2z, Safe Ride took his portion of the PAX on a mosey to the football field/track.  Said mosey was done in a two single file formations.  The leader of each line peeled off, completed 10 merkins and planked until the rest of the PAX caught up.  He then yelled “6” and the next leader did the same.  This nonsense continued until the PAX eventually made its way to the field/track where the real pain began.

THE THANG:

The PAX counted off into teams of four to create relay teams.  Two team members were positioned 200 meters apart from each other while the other two members acted as the push.  During the push the two positioned members would complete exercises, adding their reps together to reach the total required for each station.  The HIM would be relieved by the push and the madness continued from there.  Each station completed the following:

  • Air Squats x 150
  • SSH x 150
  • Big Boy Sit Ups x 150
  • Hand Release Merkins x 150
  • Mountain Climbers x 150
  • Burpees…. Until Omaha

MOM:

The PAX moseyed back to the shovel flag area for some Mary

  1. Flutter kicks (Safe Ride)
  2. Marge & Homer (Folsom)
  3. LBCs (Honey Badger
  4. American Hammers (Ethanol)

MUMBLE CHATTER:

Lots of mumble chatter this morning. Safe Ride led it off by admitting that he may have made the beatdown too tough. There were many variations of this thought made by many. That made Safe Ride proud.

COT:

For the COT, Safe Ride read the following quote from Rosalynn Carter: “A leader takes people where they want to go.  A great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be.”  The HIM of F3 are all leaders and they push each other to new heights. Safe Ride is proud to be part of this special group. He was proud to lead the group today.
