I welcomed the PAX at 0515 and promptly covered the F3 Mission Statement, “The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.”
We covered the five core principles:
- Free of charge
- Open to all men
- Held outdoors (“ALWAYS OUTSIDE”)
- We are led in a rotating fashion
- We will end in a Circle of Trust
We covered that our credo is that we will leave no man behind, but leave no man where we found him
I reminded the PAX I am not a professional and to modify as necessary
Warm-O-Rama
We moseyed down to the football field and convened at the 50-yard line and completed:
- 10 Big Ones IC
- 10 Moroccan Night Clubs IC
- 10 Tappy Taps IC
- 10 SSHs IC
The Pre-Thang
The PAX moseyed to the grass hill on the NW corner of the stadium where we completed a set of 11s, performing Diamond Merkins at the base of the hill and Werkins at the top.
The Thang
The PAX partnered up at the north goal line of the football field. One partner ran to the south goal line and back, while the other completed a list of exercises (AMRAP) until pushed by his partner to run. The exercises were:

COT:
I shared with the PAX that my M and I celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary yesterday. The month of May is always crazy for us with youth sports so we celebrated for a quick happy hour beer before we had to hit the ballfields. During this time, my M and I were reflecting on how fast 15 years have gone by. We talked and laughed about the really great times that we’ve had together, but also reflected on some of the challenging moments in our marriage. We discussed the growth that has taken place in our relationship as we’ve processed those challenging moments and grown closer as a result.
While in mid-conversation, I was realizing the role that reflection had played in our marriage as we navigated the challenges that most relationships probably face. I encouraged the PAX to take time for reflection in the things that are important to them and growth will come.
I took the group out in prayer.
Aye!
