Warm-a-rama: Side Straddle Hops: 10 IC

The Thang:

Mosey 0.75 miles to Russell Middle School, home of the wolf pack!

At the sight of the first glowing orange cone we circled around and completed some sucky but awesome motivators, starting at 5 and working to 1.

Next we took a short mosey down the hill to the sidewalk directly next to Q Street. We formed a line and counted off into four groups of 2 to start the next exercise. It’s only fitting to perform monkey humpers when you have the beautiful Q street behind you so as #2 Bernie Saunders up the gigantic steep hill towards the track and walked back down, #1 performed AMRAP monkey humpers. We did 4 rounds of that then we were off to the next exercise.

Next we moseyed up the hill to the track to circle around the fire light in the north end zone. Once all HIM were there, we performed a round of Dark Webs, 1 merkin : 2 raise the roof ratio up to 10 merkins/20 raise the roof. This may be the worst but best exercise combo I have done. You would not think it would suck so bad….but it does and I love it!

Next we arranged back into our 2 person groups to do a 2 man burpee dash grinder. Five lights were placed every 15 yards on the football field. Partner #1 ran from the goal line to the 1st light, dropped and did one (1) burpee then sprinted back to the goal line and switched with their partner. While #1 was sprinting and burpeeing, partner #2 was lined up on the goal line and AMRAP either deep air squats or merkins. The 2nd light was two (2) burpees, 3rd light was three (3) burpees and so on. Once they made it to the fifth light, they had to come down the burpee dash ladder by doing 4, then 3.by then Omaha was yelled at 5:50 and we moseyed .80 miles back to the shovel flags.

At this point I realized that I forget Fancy Feast ended at 6:00 and not 6:15 so we did not have any time for Mary when we reached the flags.

Totaled 2.53 miles for the beat down.

Name-o-Rama: was completed and we welcomed our one (1) FNG, ‘Wilson’.

Announcements: CSAUP on 1/28, make sure you register on Slack so they can have an idea of how many plan on attending. Please gather/donate food and deliver to either any site Q or bring to CSAUP. If every PAX brings a box of food, we could hit a TON of food to donate. Halfway House is schedule the day after CSAUP 1/29 and details will be released soon, check Slack in the near future.

Prayer Requests: Prayers for the family of the Creighton Prep student who tragically lost his life while on vacation with family. Prayers for Jump Street and his scan results. We wish him the best of luck during PT and hope to continue to see him out at coffee and COTs.

COT: “Embrace the Suck!” Just like this beat down, somethings in life are going to SUCK. You may be able to get through some hard time that suck by yourself and sometimes you need encouragement, push and drive from others to help you get through. This is what I love about F3 Nation and especially F3 Omaha. A big thank you to all of you HIM for all you do and SYING!

T-Ball took us out in prayer.
