Disclaimer: I am not a professional, modify as necessary. The exercises are simply a suggestion.
Warm-O-Rama: The PAX moseyed around the park on the trail and stopped at the tennis court and completed the following:
17 SSH
17 Cherry Pickers
17 Imperial Walkers
Pre-Thang: No Pre-Thang….we got right to business.
Thang:
The PAX in group #1 would complete a version of the IPC “Care Bear Square” on the tennis courts and then push group #2. Group #2 would pick a playing card from the deck of cards and complete the designated exercise corresponding with the number and suit on the card chosen. After picking the card, the PAX would perform the exercises at the top and bottom of “Hillsborough hill”. The “Care Bear Square” would be on the basketball court. YHC had set up a square of light up cones on the tennis court. Group #1 would move from the square to the hill. Each cone had one exercise taped to it (inside a ziplock bag of course). The first cone was 5 burpees. The group completed the burpees and then bear crawled to the next cone. The second cone was 10 Bonnie Blairs (IC). The group completed the bonnies and left side bear crawled to the next cone. The third cone was 15 Ranger Merkins. The group completed the Ranger Merkins and then crawl beared to the next cone. The fourth and final cone was 20 LBCS. The group completed the LBCS and ran to the base of the hill to push the group and to pick a card.
The group would perform exercises at the base of the hill and again after running to the top. This group would switch back and forth from each set up.

During the beatdown I found a phone and a wallet in the grass along the path that the PAX was running back and forth on to the two stations. The items belonged to our FNG, hence his new name Lost and Found. We completed 4 squares and numerous trips up and down the hill. It was a challenging, but fun morning.

Today is national ask a question day and it got me thinking about a book I read awhile back called “Good Leaders Ask Great Questions” by John Maxwell, which is perfect for our group. I want to share some quotes from that book to get us thinking about leadership.
-“Any leader who asks the right questions of the right people has the potential to discover and develop great ideas.”
-“Good questions inform; great questions transform.”
-“Good leaders ask great questions that inspire others to dream more, think more, learn more, do more, and become more.”
That last one was a huge influence in my life as I always try to do more, no matter what it is. I challenge you to make doing more the norm in all aspects of your life, I guarantee acceleration will follow.
