Warmarama: 15 SSHs, 15 Tappy Taps, 15 Imperial Walkers, 12 Monkey Humpers

Pre-Thang: Ran up the parking garage in Aksarben, stopping on each level to do 15, 13, 11, and 9 merkins, respectively.

Thang: Three stations were set up and four groups, with one group pushing. Stations were:

1) On stage – 15 one-arm pullbacks, then table-top for 30 seconds; rinse and repeat

2) On grass – 25 bent over rows, then 20 Apollo Ohnos IC; rinse and repeat

3) Under pergola – 10 pullups, then Superman for 30 seconds; rinse and repeat

Mary: We did 15 flutter kicks and ended with rancid-style American Hammers.

COT: I’m reading a book called Grit, which talks about how effort is more important than talent. Specifically, about how hard people work and how deliberate their practice is when nobody is watching. Today we did back and glute exercises, which is what others see when we’re not watching them or posing for a camera. Take care of yourself and work hard when nobody is watching and be proud of what you have to show the world.
