Tuesday January 2, 2024 at 0530 hrs sharp we started. It was approx 20° with partly clear skies and 14 mph wind gusts, making the feel like temp closer to 15°.

The workout started with the F3 mission statement — The mission of F3 is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.

5 core principles

  1. Free of charge (5 burpees)
  2. Open to all men (5 burpees)
  3. Always held outdoors (5 burpees)
  4. Led in a rotating fashion (5 burpees)
  5. And ends in a circle of trust. (5 burpees)

Credo: “Leave no man behind, but leave no man where we found him.”

Safety disclaimer, Q is not a professional, modify as necessary for there is a real risk of injury.

With that we moysed down to the turf field. YHC explained today’s goal… 300 burpees. We were already 25 down from the intro so on a positive note only 275 more. YHC started the music and the EMOM timer. Every time the buzzer goes off 10 burpees until Omaha is called in approx 30 minutes. We ended up doing 25 rounds for a total of 250 plus our 25 during the intro. We did a few Mary exercises and then made our way back to the shovel flags. Once at the flags 5 PAX members each called out five more burpees to get us to our goal of 300 for the day.

The quote really had me thinking that in life most of the time we really know what needs to be done and how to do it and that we need to just keep pushing until it’s complete. This morning we knew we needed 300 burpees and we pushed. We modified, but we finished it!
