Mission Forge 06202022 – We are United! @

Q: Yodel

Weather: Steamy, but there was a fresh breeze of freedom in the air 😉 (If you would have posted, you would know what that means)

PAX (18 incl Yodel): Mulligan (Respect), Mr Miyagi, Grisswold, Rowdy, Skidz, Armpit (FNG), Band Camp, Tea Party, Jump Street, Vlasik (Respect), Gump, Limu (Respect), Mufasa, My Space, Pit Stop, Escobar, EA

FNG: 1 – Armpit

Everyone gathered around the shovel flag (Well, we only had one because our Side Q decided to not bring his one for whatever reason – oh no, he forgot it last time!)

Yodel started us off with the core principles and made sure to get the PAX into the right mind set by playing the terminator soundtrack. Then, the HIM paired up and did a partner carry around the parking lot.

Listening to some Austrian folk music was a great way to do some alternating shoulder tabs.

Afterwards, it was time for the lovely Yodeljax – we did 10 to make sure everyone is ready. We did some Merkins and wheel barrows to get those muscles working!

Yodel then put on Rammstein and the PAX did Bropee’s every time they heard BANG BANG or FEUER. Rumros are, we did over 25 Bropees in 3 minutes.

Between the songs Yodel made sure to get the PAX’s arm muscle worked by adding in 20-40 merkins.

Next, everyone did LBCs while listening to Tom Jones and we had to do Turkish getups whenever we heard him sing UNUSUAL.

And again, Merkins afterwards.

To change things up, Eric Pridz motivated the PAX during Gator Speers, followed by Merkins.

Of course, Yodel never skips leg day, so Moby’s song flower was perfect to do some deep squats before we did more Merkins.

And last but not least, David Hasselhoff sang freedom for us, so we could do some Grinders. It was just amazing – everyone loved it.

After we moseye’d back to the shovel flag we did some good old American Hammers Rancid style. Then, Yodel passed the nugent flag to Mufasa and admitted how much he means to him as a friend (this will never happen again, he will talk shit about him soon he said).  We made sure to pray for hard hats family and Xavier ,but first, Yodel had to share his COT:

As an immigrant I always learn new things. I recently learned that we had our flag day on June 14. So, I thought I should talk about that today. What does the flag mean to me?

After all, there are almost 200 national flags out there today. So what makes ours so special?

Well, it’s pretty simple: to me it represent a nation, where everything is possible.

A nation, where people are welcomed with open arms.

A nation where hard work will always pay off.

A nation, where no matter your looks, your race, your believes, your religion, you will always be able to speak freely.

One could say, you have the liberty here to live freely,

We are fair to everyone, and our people will never be broken up.

I also think that we at F3 show that we are not divided, we are one nation – with different views, but the same core values – but, we are one nation under god.

By saying this, I think it’s important that today, all of us turn to our shovel flags, put our right hand on our hearts (I think you know where I am getting at with this) and we say the following words:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation

under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Then, Mufasa lead us out in a prayer and we headed out for coffee. It was an honor to Q today.

SYITG – Aye, Yodel
