QIC: Boji

5:30am: Boji welcomed the other 23PAX to F3 & Trident. He began by stating the F3 Mission Statement, 5 Core Principals, & credo. He let everyone know that he was not a professional and to modify as necessary.  We had no FNG’s this morning.

We began the morning activities with Warm-O-Rama next to the parking lot by the shovel flags:

  • 10 Tappy Taps (IC)
  • 6 Big Ones (3 on each side)
  • 20 Sun Gods IC (10 Front & 10 Back)
  • 20 Side Straddle Hops

We grabbed our coupons and moseyed to the underground parking garage to escape the rain (this location was a last minute audible):

Pre-Thang:

  • 2 Minutes of AMRAP Merkins (proof that 2 minutes is a long time)

The Thang:

  • 2 Man Grinder with four (4) stations.  The reps were cumulative.  While 1 PAX was doing the exercises on the sheet the other PAX ran to a light at the far end of the parking garage, completed 3 Burpees and ran back to relieve the PAX doing the exercise.  Once the PAX completed the reps on the sheet they moved to the next station.
  • Station 1 (Coupon Station)100 Overhead Press100 Curls
    • Station 2
      • 100 LBC (IC)
    • Station 3
      • 50 Burpees
    • Station 4
      • 200 Air Squats

There was a station set up for “Bruisers”.  We did not have any bruisers in attendance but following is the workout that was set up for them:

  • Complete set of exercises and then walk to the cone on the far end of the parking garage.  Complete 10 Merkins and walk back and start next set of exercises:
    • 50 Air Squats
    • 50 Cherry Pickers
    • 50 Raise the Roofs
    • 50 LCB (IC)
    • 50 Alternating Shoulder Taps
    • 50 Sumo Squats

All stations were instructed to “Rinse & Repeat” until Omaha.

Omaha was called at 6:02am.  We grabbed the lights, exercise sheets, coupons and headed back to the shovel flags via the parking garage stairs.

Mary:

  • Boji called on Tater Tot to give us his favorite core exercise.  He called for 20 LBC’s (IC).
  • We finished with Rancid Style American Hammers

Name-O-Rama was then done Trident style.

Nugent Flag Pass: Z-Bo to Black Flag

COT

Valentine’s Day originally known as St. Valentines Day is a day that is observed by expressing love for your partner with a feast and gifts.  In Boji’s opinion over time this Holiday has become commercialized and too often men find themselves buying a last-minute gift and card on their way home from work with very little thought or effort.  He challenged the PAX to truly give the day some thought and surprise their partner/spouse by doing something they would not expect today.  He also encouraged the PAX to reach out to those who have suffered loss or are dealing with a broken relationship as this day can be hard for those individuals.

Boji lead us out in Prayer.

Thanks for the support this morning.  The conditions were not favorable, but know it certainly meant a lot to have you all there!
