The Pre-Thang consisted of a bunch of dipsy-doodles as I like to call them. Everyone found a bend and we worked with triceps in sets of 20. Then we orchestrated a mediocre Stinel at best (don’t tell Wait Time) as our arms were shot.

The Thang took place at the infamous Stinson Park Tower.

This was a 2-man grinder with 5 AMRAP workouts at the tower while the partner went on an 80% charged run around the smaller circle. Once returning, they would pick a card from the deck to do as many reps as they wanted with their partner before the partner went on the same mosey.

AMRAP consisted of

  1. Air Squats
  2. Werkins
  3. Jump Squats
  4. Plank to Merkin
  5. Bobby Hurleys

We then moseyed back the long way to the shovel flag for good ole Mary

COT

Face your fear of confrontation. I have never liked conflict but I have found that conflict is needed at times. Ripping the band aid off to deal with the issue head on is healthy. We all have the voice in our head that tells us to stand down or simply keep it to ourselves. Assuming things will get better is leaving it up to chance. Be the leader that deals with the hard stuff upfront. The longer we wait, the higher probability that we won’t be able to resolve it. Step up and speak from the heart first!
