Q Kicked off the festivities promptly at 5:30 where we stated the mission statement, five core principles, creedo and disclaimer.  Q asked if there were any FNG’s and after discovering there weren’t asked if there were any first time Duner’s of which there were two.  After that, we proceeded to the south endzone for Warm-a-Rama

  • Warm-a-rama – Football field
  • Side Straddle Hops – 16 IC
  • Tappy Tapps – 10 IC
  • Yodel Thrusts with Eye Contact – 15 Ups
  • Michael Phelps – 15 IC

Once done with Warm-a-rama we circled up and counted off into Groups of 3 where we did a series of Mini Thangs. 

Thang 1 – Bear Crawl and Burpees

  • Bear Crawl 20 yards – Complete 5 Burpees
  • Bear Crawl another 20 yards – Complete 5 Burpees
  • Bear Crawl another 20 yards – Completed 5 Burpees
  • 10 Count
  • Repeat going back to the Goal Line

Thang 2 – Partner Drag and Core

  • Two drag third partner to the 20 yard line stop and do 20 LBC IC
  • Two drag second partner to the 40 yard line stop and do 20 WWI’s
  • Final person gets dragged to the 60 yard line stop and do 20 SFE’s
  • 10 Count
  • Repeat going back to the Goal Line

Thang 3 –

1 guy stays at the end zone while two run a 300.  Once back, one guy keeps running while one drops out and the third joins.  Once two consecutive 300’s have been ran, PAX stays for the exercise. Pax Member who stayed at the goal line AMRAPS exercises until pushed. 

  • Burpees
  • 4 Count Merkins
  • Tempo Squats – Ass to Heels
  • Dry Docks – Forehead to Turf
  • Heel Touches – Shoulders off the Ground
  • Mountain Climbers – Knee to Chest

Omaha was called at 6:08 ish and we moseyed back to the flags for Mary.

Ketchup talked about how this workout had a bunch of different options and was meant to demonstrate that you don’t have to run to get a good beatdown in.  While we ended up running a mile, that was a audible that was called and I had the option on the table to switch to lunge walks and/or broad jumps.  So for those guys that haven’t led a lot, don’t think you have to get 3 miles in to get a decent workout. 

Final thoughts were for everyone to have a great thanksgiving and really enjoy time with your family…and keep those that maybe don’t have family around them in your thoughts or invite them over.
