COT:
I had made it known that last week was always a tough week for me every year. The week o’ Farva was my way of surrounding myself with support the whole week. Leading the workouts everyday was the perfect way to ensure I wouldn’t retreat back to internalizing and isolating myself. I was overwhelmed with support each day. I received so many texts, what’s app and slack messages, emails, and Twitter/Facebook messages of support. I also received a thoughtful handwritten note that really helped me after a rough day. The thoughts and prayers, no matter how small, made a huge difference to me. Please continue to reach out to your brothers because sometimes the shortest words or messages can mean the world to someone.
