Announcements & Prayers:
COT: This week my 2.0 Professor went off to camp on Sunday. He struggles when he is in a new environment or away from his family, like so many of us do. He called a couple nights wanting to come back home but we made him stay and do the hard thing push through and see what happened. He ended up doing way more than he expected and even got a couple new friends out of the deal.
Upon reflection I realized lately, I haven’t been doing hard things myself, the example I have been for those around me has been one of complacency and comfort. 2 Corinthians 6:12 says “Everything is permissible for me,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible for me,” but I will not be mastered by anything. Step into the beneficial for you even the hard, just because you can doesn’t mean you should or that its even good for you.
By the way, todays workout resembled a MURPH to show us all we can do hard things.
