5:30 AM:

E-85 welcomed the Pax to F3 – reminding them of the F3 Mission: Plant, Grow and Serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.

E-85 recited the 5 core principles of F3.  1) Free 2) Open to all men 3) Always Outside 4) Led in a rotating fashion and 5) Ends in a Circle of Trust (COT).

E-85 informed the group that he is not a professional and to modify as necessary.  He recited the creedo – “Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him.”

The PAX then moseyed to The Grotto for Warm-O-Rama.

Warm-O-Rama:

Side Straddle Hops, Imperial Walkers, Tappy Taps, Tempo Derkins, Dips, Big Ones, Michael Phelps.

The PAX then moseyed to the pavilion for the Thang.

Thang:

400 meter/4 minute Tabata. With a 4 minute timer, PAX run the 400 meter loop around the pavilion and then complete max reps of 20 merkins, 20 air squats, 20 big boys until the 4 minutes is complete. Rest for 1 minute. Rinse and repeat x 4. At the end of each 4 minute set, write down total number of reps completed. At the end of the Thang, the PAX with the highest number of reps gets free coffee at Roast!

E-85 called Omaha at approximately 0606AM, and the group moseyed back to the shovel flags.

COT:

  1. Go where you’re celebrated, not where you’re tolerated.
  2. Man, if that doesn’t encompass what F3 Omaha is about, I don’t know what does. For over 3 years now, I have experienced nothing but sense of open arms when coming to F3. More often than not its “Im glad you’re here” or “It was great seeing you this morning”. This group does an incredible job putting value on character, compassion, kindness, moral compass, vulnerability…and much less on what is your job titles, how much do you make, where do you live, what kind of car is that. And because of the way the F3 design sees past a lot of the material things, it opens the way for celebration of men in ways that most men outside of this group would not be used to. And I think it feels so awesome to come here where we are celebrated in these ways because so many other aspects of our lives are not.
