At 5:30am, YHC welcomed the PAX to F3, F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith. I then covered the 5 core principles, the mission statement, the credo, and the disclaimer.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional, modify as necessary. There is a real risk for injury, let’s not get injured today.
Warm-O-Rama:
At the flags we completed: Seal claps – 10 IC, Moroccan night clubs – 10 IC, Imperial walkers – 10 IC, Tappy taps – 10 IC
Pre-thang:
Laps around the circle where the flags are planted which is just about a quarter mile. After each lap we completed 20 IC floating snow angels or Superman angels. Picture the movement of a snow angel but with your legs and arms slightly off the ground. I had 4 laps planned, but Ketchup twisted an ankle in a hole he couldn’t see on lap #2 so I decided to move on to the main thing early.
The Thang:
I had lights set up along the path that runs south behind the houses near the parking lot. I found this spot on the pre ruck and kept us out of the wind. One light acting as the base of the ladder and 3 more lights all spaced about 15 yards apart. This is an OYO grinder so you can push as hard or modify as you need. Start at the baseline and run to the first light and complete 5 merkins, 5 squats, and 5 burpees, then run back to the baseline for 10 WWI sit-ups. Run to the second light for 10 merkins, 10 squats, and 10 burpees, then run back to the baseline for 10 WWI sit-ups. Run to the third light for 15 reps of merkins, squats, burpees, and back to the baseline for WWIs. We made it up, down, and back up the ladder. It was bit monotonous by the end, but we had more time since we cut the pre thing mosey short.
Omaha was called at 6:05 and we returned to the flags.

COT:
Average effort yields average results is a quote I recently heard in a COT and it stuck with me. It seems obvious from a physical aspect right? And that’s likely where our minds go first when we hear that quote. But as I thought about it and kept reading it, I started to think about how it applies to relationships. Whether it be with my wife or with my kids. I don’t want to be average for them. I want to be great for them. Average effort, average results.
The timing of things sometimes just falls right into place… my wife called me on it last night. I’ve been pretty focused on myself and my goals recently and it may has made her feel less valued. I need to get my ass in check and make sure that if I’m pushing in the gloom with you men, that I’m also pushing at home in my most important relationships to strengthen those rings of the concentrica.
Busser closed out in prayer.
Aye,
Busser
