Pre Thang: Chain Run
Well, the Thang was going to be down at the track and we had to get there somehow so we formed two lines and headed down to the track. The person at the end of the line dropped out of line, did a burpee and then sprinted to the front of the line. When that person got to the front of the line, the person at the end of the line dropped out of line did a burpee and then sprinted to the front of the line and so on and so on until we arrived at our destination. It was the most well orchestrated pre-thang YHC has ever been a part of.
The Thang “See Ya When I See Ya: Sputnik Edition”:
See Ya When I See Ya is a partner exercise where you and your partner run in opposite directions on a track and then do exercises every time you meet. Each pair was given a card with a list of exercises and instructed to do the first exercise on the first meeting, then stack the exercises on each meeting thereafter (so the 2nd meeting they would do the first and second exercises on the list, the 3rd meeting they would do the 1st, 2nd and 3rd and so on). To honor our friend Sputnik the exercises were

Omaha was called somewhere between 5, 6 and 7. We did a super set as a group and moseyed back to the flag for Mary.

If you come around long enough F3 will change the way you not only see the stars but the way you see the world!
Boy has F3 changed the way I see the world. It has changed the way I treat the world. First F, comes and goes for me. I wish I were doing better but it’s a lot better than it was – I’ll take it.
Second F, WOW, I have friends beyond measure. Friends I enjoy. Friends who keep me accountable. Friends who teach me through their actions and by sharing their thoughts with me. Friends who share their faith with me. . .
Third F, a part of something bigger. What we see when we look up. . . Is it guidance or is it just lights in the sky? My faith has grown so much since joining F3. So many great examples here in F3 have helped me so much and I’ve also been intentional about going to F3’s book club and praying and asking God to get to know him better.
What I’m saying is that over time F3 is making me more of a traveler in this quote, with the stars as my guide. I recognize little miracles in my days and I don’t take them for granted. Sunday at the Rabbit Hole, Sharknado caught the last “which is always the winning” score. Touche and I got a text from Gator about the elevated mood in his house that morning “thanks for a great morning in the gloom fellas”. What a little miracle.
A few hours later me, my wife and our dogs were out visiting 2 Aos, one for FIA and one right here planning two Qs together, sharing beatdown ideas. Are you kidding me?
Later, I had some quiet time and read some of a book written by a friend in F3!
So let me say the quote a different way, replacing the word “stars” with “people”
