Thang: Find your best
We numbered off by 3s and were spilt into groups. Group 1 headed
towards the end of the turf field to start on the goal line and run to the
20 and do 10 merkins, run to the 40 and do 10 Big Boys, run to the 40
do 10 merkins, run to the 20 do 10 Big Boys, and finish running to the
goal line. They then pushed group 2.
Group 2 was busy on the stairs running up and down until pushed.
Once pushed by group 1, group 2 would push group 3.
Group 3 was on the hill and partnered up. One partner was doing
Bernie Sanders up the hill while the other partner was doing LBCs.
When the partner doing the Bernie Sanders came down the hill the two
would switch. Once group 3 was pushed by group 2, group 3 would
head to the end of the turf field and the groups would continue in this
fashion until Omaha was called.
Omaha was called at 6:04 am

COT: “If you don’t think you are the best, you will never be the best”
Before playing in the State Semi Finals my senior year my dad said
something to me before the game that has stuck with me since that
moment. He said, “If you don’t think you are the best, you will never be
the best”. At that moment it was about the game, but this saying is
something I think of often. I have started telling the same thing to my
3 girls in reference to school, sports, friends, etc. It doesn’t mean you
have to be the best there ever was, but to be the absolute best you can
be. I try to do this in my personal life as a husband, dad, son, brother,
friend, neighbor, co-worker, etc. It is a great reminder to continue to
find your best.
I took us out in prayer
