QIC: Simmons
At 5:00 Pre-Pre-Runners took off for some extra miles.
At 5:30 Regular Pre-Runners joined in the fun.
At 6:00 Simmons welcomed PAX to F3 and thanked them for coming out for his Q at The Crown. He reminded them of the mission to Plant, Serve, and Grow small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership. He stated the credo of “leave no man behind, and leave no man where we find him”. He then covered the 5 core principles of F3. 1) Open to ALL men. 2) Always free. 3) Always held outdoors. 4) Lead in a rotating fashion. 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT). He also stated, “I am not a professional! And to modify as needed!” Lastly he asked if we had any FNG’s (there was none).
The Route
We had a good group of runners today all moving about the same pace so we didn’t have many stops to keep the group together. This allowed us to run a nice 10k, with a few twists and turns throughout the neighborhoods. We went East on the trail to 72nd street, and then headed South. We turned West on Cedardale and took it all the way to 84th street. We took a little side street up towards Trumble Park, and then ran around the back side of Rawhide Road and down Fort Street. This brought us to Lincoln street which we took back to the flags.
“OMAHA” was called at 7:00 on the dot and we finished with Sarpy Slammers and NOR!

“Do the Hard Things”
I went a little long on my route so I kept it short and sweet. I just said when things don’t maybe go the way you planned or had envisioned them going to not beat yourself up about it. Let it go. Was the beatdown more chaotic than you planned? Was the meeting more stressful than it should’ve been? That’s okay, most people see your effort and appreciate it. Learn from the mistakes and move on.
Announcements: Donut run, Brickyard Flag Pass,
