Weather: Unseasonably warm and humid
I pulled into the parking lot around 5:10. I was very proud of myself for getting there early enough to setup and scope out the site. I strolled around the field for awhile and tested out my Bluetooth speaker. I was excited to “entertain” the PAX with my workout playlist this morning. I eventually headed back toward the parking lot where 15 ready and waiting PAX greeted me. I was a little rusty with the opening. I nailed the core principles, but completely forgot the disclaimer and mission statement. Thankfully there were plenty of guys willing to help me out while giving me a hard time. Once that was over I told the pax to mosey toward the south goal line.

Pre THANG
11s
We mosey’d toward the east stadium for 11s. We started with 10 dips at the bottom and 1 Bobby Hurley at the top, and proceeded from there. My musical entertainment began with Narco by Timmy Trumpet. I got a kick out it. I’m not sure anyone else did though. After a few more songs and lots of stadium steps I called Omaha.
We mosey’d back to the south goal line and paired up for The Thang.
The THANG
Partner Grinder
One partner ran to the 50 did a burpee and ran back. The other partner did the exercise listed. Once they accumulated the number of reps listed, they switched to the next.

I heard some mumble chatter from Roadhouse about the 100 tempo merkins. Around the 60 mark I agreed with him. Somehow we made it through (I think think the Ozzy Osbourne helped) and I called Omaha just after finishing the 100th dry dock.
We mosey’d to the north endzone for Mary.

- Not much for announcements. I announcement that Roadhouse would be emceeing the St. Robert’s Fall Festival on Sunday and all were welcome.
- Roadhouse asked us to pray for his mom that turned 70 over the weekend.
- I thanked the PAX for bearing with my music and told the them that is my playlist when I run. I told them it pumps me up and makes me happy. Using that as an example I encouraged the PAX to find things that pump them up, make them happy and bring them joy and do those things more often.
- Dirty Bird passed the Nugent flag to Huffy and had some very nice words to say about both Nugent and Huffy.
