COT: BetaMax shared that he had been reading the book, The Four Agreements and he had been reflecting on where he struggles the most. He shared that accepting the things he cannot control, is where he struggles the most. He shared that doing a triple murph, while hard the previous day, was not nearly as challenging as wrestling with things that come his way that he only gets to choose how he responds in the moment to. It's the choice of deflecting, blocking, parrying, tackling, fighting, accepting, etc.
To summarize, "You aren't in control of what happens to you but you're in control of how you
respond to it. What happens is not in your hands, how you handle it is."
