YHC greeted the PAX at 5:15AM for an hour-long run (which YHC learned it was an extra 15 minutes after we made the turn). We reviewed the F3 principles, mission statement and the disclaimer. We welcomed The Big One and Roadhouse to the Catalyst for their first post at the site.
PAX ran the Lincoln Highway, and turned home for the shovel flag at 5:40 AM.
ANNOUNCEMENTS with YOGA STRETCHES:
Chris Gradoville Memorial Scholarship Event. Tomorrow night, the F3OMAHA Foundation will host an event at MCL Construction that raises funds for the Chris Gradoville Memorial Scholarship. To date, the scholarship has supported four young men pursuing undergraduate degrees. The Foundation’s goal is to add two more Gradoville scholars in 2023. There is still time to register. Roadhouse will be the evening’s master of ceremonies. Live music will be provided by Baby Grand. Great auction items are available for purchase.

COT: A SAFE PLACE
Everyone needs a safe place to share struggles and be vulnerable. We have been reminded of this with some recent events in our community. F3Omaha offers many PAX members a safe place to share their hearts – if they choose to so. This morning, we ran for an hour. I was grateful that Roadhouse was my safe place to talk about my life. I was grateful that he trusted me to do the same.
We all need a safe place. It may be a coach, a therapist, a HIM, or in my case all three of those! I need a lot of safe places in my life. We are never alone in our struggles. I am grateful that many men in our circle who have been a safe place for me. May we all seek out those people in our lives that offer a safe place to share our hearts and minds.
We concluded in prayer – special prayers were said for Rowdy, Yogi, Chris and his wife, Stripes and his father, Dale.
