7 PAX: Snidely, Woody, Caruso, Bobsled, Julep, Honey Stinger, Red Wire.

QIC: Red Wire (RW)When Red Wire arrived, the bug guy let us know he was spraying, and we should find another location. While taking a 1-mile stroll in weighted vests, we planned out the alternate site.

At 5:30 AM, RW welcomed all the HIMs, there were no FNGs and no first-timers. He then went through the mission statement, RW regurgitated the Mission Statements by reminding them: That we Plant, Grow and Serve small workout groups of men for the invigoration/reinvigoration of male community leadership. RW then recited the five core principles of: 1) Free of charge 2) Open to all men. 3) Held outdoors, 4) Peer led in a rotating fashion (high fashion) and 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust (COT). The then recited the F3 Credo to leave no man behind but leave no man where you find him.RW reminded everyone he was not a professional and to modify as necessary.

COT:“What could Jesus do for you right now to allow you to believe more deeply.”I was asked this by my priest, I don’t have answer to that specific question, 3 weeks now.I want to refer to one character referenced in the Bible and here at one of our COTs. In the Gospel according to John – Doubting (Honest) Thomas.

He had a specific question, to see and feel the wounds. He was an imperfect believer. I am not a perfect believer. Jesus reminds “Blessed are those who believe and have not seen. “But There is a power or potency of being able to name what he needed.

Give power to your partners by giving them a chance to name what they need! “Do you need me to help you solve this” or “do you need be heard”?Ask your team, what is one thing we could change to make things better. Give them voice.Thomas gave voice to what he needed to see and believe. No answers needed, Think what is one thing Jesus could do for you? Then what can you or we do to put yourself in position for Jesus to answer. Give yourself voice.

Thank you for all the encouragement and support for my 2nd Q. It was a pleasure to tie my COT back to one of Bobsled’s COTs.
