Circle of Trust:
Doing hard time!
I think if given a choice between easy and hard, most people would choose easy. That is understandable given that easy is…well, easy. However, I want you to think about the moments in your life that you are most proud of. Running a mile for the first time in 10 years, 15 years, 40 years! Getting that promotion that you toiled for years to earn. Fighting for your marriage when it hits a rough patch. Continuing to preach to your children to teach them important lessons thinking in your head that there is no way in hell they are actually listening, but then witnessing a moment when they made the right decision on their own based on what you taught them! The sense of accomplishment and the journey to get there is the reward.
Don’t shy away from the hard things because battling those hard things, whether you’re successful or not, is where you grow the most. If you fail, you keep battling and sooner or later you will overcome and those are the moments you’ll build on for the rest of your life!
