PAX- (22) Gump, Lincoln Log, Lemu, Cowboy, Mufasa, Tiny Toes aka Baby Shoes, Sister Act, Fine Print, Crabcakes, Super Tasty, Vlasic, Waterboy, RollBar, Short Sale, Kingsford, FNG Tom Tom, Tonight Show, Pit Stop, Rawty, Muffs, DeClete, Sasquash
Pre-Run: Sister Act, Pit Stop, DeClete, FNG Tom Tom, Sasquash
I once called Baby Shoes Tiny Toes and with his permission, he is now Tiny Toes in my eyes. It was fitting that he came running in right as 5:30 rolled around.
I was so fired up during the intro to get us going that I forgot to mention the Credo even though I had already led by example during the pre-run. Ask Sister Act. 😉
I did place a forewarning that we would incorporate a prepre thang, pre thang and thang following the Warm-O-Rama at the 50 yard line. Â
Warm-O-Rama
- 15 side straddle hops
- 15 tappy taps
- 15 big one’s
- 15 cherry pickers with knee ups
- 20 sungods with heel raises
Prepre Thang
- 40 yard dash to prove Mufasa is not as fast as he thinks ( he does still have some speed, just not his ole 4.6) – Tiny toes with the win
Pre Thang
We made our way near the stadium steps where we would do 5 rounds of the following fun
- 5 inchworm + merkins
- 10 jump squats
- 5 v-ups
Between each round we would have the individual with the ball lead the way up the stairs and back down the preceding lane. I will speak for myself, I was gassed after a few rounds, let alone 5.
Timing was not bad. It was 5:52ish and we headed back to the 50 yard line to play a little game. Some HIM were saddened it was not duck duck goose but it was a pick your poison in the dick of cards by first letting everyone know if you wanted 5, 10 or 15 reps. Nice suggestion Vlasic!!
Mary
- ABC’s
- American Hammer with the 15-pound medicine ball
Nam-O-Rama

I was laying in bed, wide awake at 3AM, for those of you that have Q’d, you know the feeling…
It made me think of the power of journaling which then made me curious who journaled. Only two hands went up. I challenged everyone to give it a shot as it as gave me great clarity when I have done it. I can also do better. We often think we will remember how we felt but our memory is not as good as we think in the moment. By documenting your feelings and priorities, you then can look back at your journey and assess your progress.
