Ironwood AO December 18, 2023: 36 degrees with a little NW wind, so the feels like was around 17, but Joe Buck still had shorts on this morning
Disclaimer/Motto/Core Principles were all addressed. No FNG’s this morning
PAX (11 total): Dome, Rocket, Hindsight, Polaroid, Good Looking, Demogorgon, Doll Face (R), Joe Buck, Rooster, and Hipster (R/R/R)
Q: Wentworth
Warm-O-Rama: Ran uphill towards the memorial for a little warm o rama: 15 SSH’s, 15 Tappy Taps, 15 Michael Phelps, 4 Big One’s for about 8-10 seconds on each side, Sun Gods
Pre-Thang: Ran down to the lower platform and did 20 Dips, 20 Step-Ups, and then 20 Derkins
The Thang: Continued down to the Dodge Street pedestrian bridge
3-man grinder and split up into groups: leg station, push group, and arm/chest station on the other side of Dodge with a 3 burpee toll each time over the bridge
We made it through about 3 times and then went back to the shovel flags
Definitely some mumblechatter with the mosey between stations and exercises.
6MOM: Flutter Kicks 15IC, Heels to Heaven 15IC, Low Dolly’s 15IC, and finished up with 15IC LBC’s and didn’t do any American Hammers this morning
Announcements and Prayers: Freed to Bleed on Friday, December 22nd, still spots available to sign up and some prayer requests for some family members who are going through some surgeries and need prayers for healing and recovery
COT: Giving peoples 2nd chances or 3rd or more has been on my heart recently as I have had a couple situations recently where I have been surprised by the turnaround with some things that have happened. Don’t give up on someone to change or turnaround their lives. I have been given several 2nd and 3rd chances during my lifetime, and I appreciate those opportunities to do better and change my direction for life.
Thank you for the opportunity to lead this awesome group of men this morning!
Wentworth ended in prayer
AYE!
