COT: Open to all men. Looking around, I see fathers, sons, cousins, nephews, uncles, grandsons. Hate guys, respect guys. Musicians, readers, athletes, actors, sports fans, chefs. Engineers, writers, salesmen, businessmen, logistics guys, attorneys, bankers. We are a diverse group of men, and we are all here because there are no prerequisites: open to all men!

What do we have in common? I’m going to go out on a limb and assert that we all want to get better (we call it accelerating). That might mean physically stronger, might mean faster, might mean a better husband, a more engaged father, a better leader in the office…

I want to share something from a guy named Peter Ostapko (side note: his Faith, Fatherhood and Work podcast is excellent). He had asked men for feedback on what was most valuable to them related to men’s groups. This is what he wrote:

  • When someone was courageous enough to speak from the heart and share about the real details of their life, it gave permission to everyone else in the group (to do the same).

Open to all men. There’s a good chance that somebody has dealt with challenges similar to what you’re dealing with, and I guarantee that there’s somebody who’s willing to walk through difficult times with you, who wants to celebrate with you, who wants to lift you up if you stumble, hold you accountable, etc. Over the past year, I’ve been fortunate to meet a ton of you guys – the best conversations I’ve had in F3 have been when I’ve gone deeper. Open to all men. Most valuable and beneficial to men willing to be open. You are built (and are building) that – thank you
