4:45 am Pre-Run: 7/8 Pax were there for the pre run, we’re already recruiting to get Udder out for a pre run soon!

5:15 am: Ray Ban welcomed the PAX to the Catamount Complex.  YHC reviewed that F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith. Its mission is to plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for the reinvigoration of male community leadership.  We have 5 core principles: 1) Free of charge, 2) Open to all men, 3) Always held outside, 4) Led in a rotating fashion, 5) Ends with a Circle of Trust.  Our credo is to leave no man behind but leave no man where you found him.  Disclaimer that I am not a professional so modify as necessary.

Warm-a-rama: 15 Tappy-Taps IC, 10 Big Ones IC, 10 Sun Gods forwards IC, 10 Sun Gods reverse IC, 15 imperial walkers IC

Pre Thang: To exorcise YHC’s demons from the cat house, we did cat crawls up the hill.  Blinking light safety cones were placed on each side of the concrete…safety first today!  We stopped at the top for 10 monkey humpers IC directed at the concrete slab, then moseyed back down the hill.  Repeated 3 times. Ray Ban’s demons have now been exorcised!

COT:

I saw this analogy online recently.  And while everything about it wasn’t perfect there were some good nuggets to it:

– You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you, making you spill your coffee everywhere.

– Why did you spill the coffee? “Because someone bumped into me!!!”

– Wrong answer. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in your cup. Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

– Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.

– Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which will happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It’s easy to fake it, until you get rattled.

– *So we have to ask ourselves… “what’s in my cup?”*

– When life gets tough, what spills over?

– Joy, gratefulness, peace and humility?

– Anger, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?

– Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it.

– Today let’s work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, kindness, and love for others.

Prayer- Ray Ban

Aye! Ray Ban
