COT –  Advice and Planning

I sat in mass Sunday morning trying to plan out my week. I wanted to make sure I was prepared, not only for myself, but mainly for you guys. No one wants to show up to a beatdown and realize that the Q has no plan whatsoever. Although, I’d admit some of those have been my favorite beatdowns ever. I started realizing that when I plan ahead, things tend to go better. I have realized that in the past the times I’m most annoyed or frustrated are when things don’t go the way I wanted them to.

So, I planned the beat down, I got things ready for my week. I planned my clothes for the week. I’ve got my lesson plans ready to go. I’m ready…but! I know things will go wrong somewhere. My week is going to get thrown off, and that is when I have to trust in God. Faith! That’s what it is, it’s faith. Faith that no matter what, good things will happen, bad things will happen, just things will happen. But God is going to be there. 

In Hebrews Chapter 11 verse 1 it says “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”. I can’t see the tests of God in front of me. I can only have Faith that they are there and with God I can pass them. 

I’ll finish with this John Chapter 11 Verse 40 “Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”. That to me is Faith. Believe. Go out and believe, I promise if you do, you will see God’s glory this week.
