We had a great turnout for the Pre-Pre-run and the Pre-run.
Welcomed the PAX and thanked them for coming out. F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith. F3 has a mission to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for the invigoration and reinvigoration of male community leadership. We have 5 core principles: 1) Free of Charge 2) Open to all Men 3) Always outside 4) Held in a rotating fashion 5) Ends in a Circle of Trust. F3’s Credo is to leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him. I reminded the PAX that I am not a professional and to modify as necessary.
The Run: We ran a nice little out and back down Lincoln Road turning around at about 6:27 and returning to the park shelter.

Prayers: Prayer for anyone affected by the tornado that occurred the day prior.
COT: YHC came across a leadership speech from 7X National Championship Alabama Football Coach Nick Saban. This is a speech that he gives the incoming freshman team:
If you want to be happy for an hour eat a steak.
If you want to be happy for a day, go golfing.
If you want to be happy for a week, go on a vacation.
If you want to be happy for a month, buy a new car.
If you want to be happy in life, ask yourself one question; if I didn’t show up today, would anyone miss my ass. Because then you would know that you have accomplished something of significance. I let the PAX know how thankful I am to have found F3 and appreciate all the support I have received this past year. Looking forward to the next year in the gloom.
