YHC and Phoenix arrived and welcomed the PAX to the Lair. There were some premurphers getting after it. Nice work gentlemen! The 5 core principles, credo, mission statement were all recited very eloquently.

I explained that we would be doing a Murph but stopping along the way for merkins and airsquats to break up the run.

We headed west and our first stop was at the park west of the pool. 20 merkins and 30 air squats.

From there we moseyed to Mr. Miyagi’s front yard. He was still recovering from his cold so we wanted to pay him a visit. 20 merkins and 30 air squats.

You can probably guess where stop 3 was… The Tranny Shop! 20 merkins and 30 air squats.

We departed the Tranny Shop and headed south to stop 4 at the end of S. McKenna Ave. 20 merkins and 30 air squats.

We were now at the school. The Pax did 3 sets of pullups on the playground equipment or swings. Then 2 sets of core. Then 3 sets up pullups. Then 2 sets of core. Then 3 sets of pullups. Then 1 set of core. Then 1 set of pullups.

We did our 5th set of 20 merkins and 30 airsquats there at the playground before turning to head back towards the flags.

Set 6 was at the corner of South and Aberdeen. 20 merkins and 30 air squats. Mosey.

Set 7 was at the corner of Aberdeen and Figg. 20 merkins and 30 air squats. Mosey.

Set 8 was at St. Pats. 20 merkins and 30 air squats. Mosey.

Set 9 was at Mr. Miyagi’s front yard. 20 merkins and 30 air squats. Mosey.

Set 10 was back at the park west of the pool. 20 merkins and 30 air squats. Mosey.

Having completed the exercises, we moseyed back to the flags for 29 American Hammers.

After Name-o-Rama, we had an FNG to name. Ozark’s 2.0 crushed his first F3 beatdown and earned the name Moneyball. He is a baseball player and his favorite subject in school is math.

Prayers and Announcements: None

COT: Today we did a murph. Murphs are hard. But we broke up this difficult workout into manageable chunks. When I first started F3 I could barely complete a Murph. I definitely had to modify. We are all called upon to complete challenging projects, goals or difficult tasks from time to time. One way we can do this is to break these projects, goals and tasks up into more manageable pieces. When people climb Mount Everest, they don’t reach the summit in one go. They make their way up the mountain in a methodical manner – climbing from checkpoint to checkpoint. We can use this approach to accomplish whatever we set our minds to as long as we take it one step at a time and never give up. It’s an honor to lead you.

Slainte!
