Weather: Wet, not actively raining, but rained previous night. Mid 70s.

PAX(11): Jean Claude, Ear Tag, Sweaky Clean, KOA, Borat, Ditty, Black Tuesday, Baby Shark, G-String, Farva, Chernobyl(Q)

5:30 Opening

Chernobyl welcomed the PAX to F3, shared our mission statement, 5 core principles, credo, and injury disclaimer. We then started off on our mozy. The group ran to the Home Depot parking lot for the sprinting thang (1.25 mile, relatively flat with a moderate hill at the end).

5:40 Fast Twitch

To start, the PAX spread out along the bottom of the steep grass hill, roughly 25-30 yards long. On the go we finished 3 rounds of Bernie Sanders up the hill followed by Crawl Bears back down.

After that was complete we split into groups of 4 and had 2 members of each group across the parking lot. We then sprinted back and forth to complete 6 total rounds of 50 yard sprints (approximately).

After a quick 10 count, we walked to the parking stalls and completed a grueling suicide circuit using the parking stalls (approximately 24 stalls in total).

To finish off the sprints we did one more Bernie Sanders up the big hill. Unfortunately we ran out of time to complete the finisher (I’ll save that for another time).

6:00 The Return

We mozied back to the shovel flags (same route on the return) and did our Name-O-Rama. We did not have any major announcements to share other than upcoming sites popping up over the next couple months…stay tuned on those communications.

6:12ish COT

Chernobyl had each of the PAX look at each other, explaining that we are all made the same (2 ears, one nose, two hands, etc.) Yet we are all different. We were given two ears and one mouth for a reason…to listen twice as much as we speak. Be observant and be willing to learn from others. It is not always your job to be in control. He also explained how failing is not a bad thing and should be something to strive for, because through failure we learn and improve ourselves, without it only delivers us the status quo. Reach for more, and you will get it, God willing. Have a great day gents.
