5:30 Intro:  Hi, my name is Blades of Glory….

 This is F3 and entered into the pre-F3 ritual… Fitness, Fellowship, Faith.

We headed down to the field at the 50 Yard line to do Warm-a-Rama.

Warm a Rama 

15 side straddle hops IC

10 high knees IC

10 butt kicks IC

5 inch worms

Pigeon stretch mumble chatter then switch legs….

Pre-Thang:  was explaining the Thang… 4 stations 

Counted off into two groups  – 1 and 2  

We did awesome on counting!  Just saying some days the struggle is real.

With numbers being all over the place lately planned for more but modified for 10 with just 2 groups.  Had Group 1 start with Station 1 and Group 2 start at Station 3.   

THANG

Station 1: Bleachers

25 Dips (bottom of bleachers)

Up the Stairs (1. hop 2. 1 foot hop 3. hop)

25 Merkins  

Down the Stairs (normal)

Repeat….

Plank or hold Dip until 6 is in. Count together.

Move to the Wall Station 2:

Station 2:  Concession Stand Wall 

Wall Sit for the 6 to come in and as a group you do the following:

Balls to the wall

10 chicken peckers IC  

20 donkey kicks

30 Count B2W

Wall Sit:

30 Sec Count

10 Right leg only

10 Left leg only

30 Sec count

Station 3:  Football Field

Start @ Field Goal Post:

Walking Lunges to 50 Yard

50 Yard Line (Light) 

50 Deep Squats 

50 yard line Bear Crawl to Field Goal

Station 4: Burpees

50 Burpees

  1st Person to 50 burpees then the group pushes.  

Rinse and repeat.  

Comments and concerns:  Blades of Glory was in group 2, there was not much talking or complaining so I couldn’t tell if we were having a good time or not.  I was excited that Baby Shoes was in our group. I was counting on him to get 50 burpees while I just made it to 38.  Great Job!  I did find out later that Group 1 did modify a lot and decided to do a combined 50 burpees.  So like 10 each..  Free to lead baby…. 

After hopping up the stairs at the bleachers I had no idea how spent I would feel.. So did some 10 counts or 20 counts before doing 25 Merkins.  I have been sitting on this work out since January 2022 so was excited to be back and have the football field unlocked so we could do it this time around.  

Let there be light… And there was at about 5:45 that totally changed it and  made it safer jumping up the stairs…

6:04 Omaha was called when Group 2 was doing burpees again.  And group 1 was ½ way through the bleachers station.  

We meet at the 50 yard line for Mary and ending credits…

Prayers:  Nothing… (tried to do that count to 10 seconds silently to let people speak up but by the time I made it to 5 sec my insides are screaming “move on, move on…”)

Brought up last time Q’d at Main Stage was in Jan.  It was 1 year after I got some papers from a government employee.  And August 31  is the day I proposed to my M 19 years ago…  

Tried to relate it so everyone could have a good take away, but tried to explain that when a system that you believed in so deeply betrays you it can sting… And the process of Anger… Grief… and then Shame that can follow as you step back to ask some hard questions is extremely difficult.  Questions like… can I trust myself again to make good decisions?  And then sorting out beliefs through a time of deconstruction and cynicism…  But as a podcast I listened to over and over a quote by Dan Allander. “The goodness of God and the land of living will bring me out of despair but it is a long hard process.”  

Beaver took us out in prayer.
