AO: – The Oracle – Boystown

July 2, 2020.  5:30 AM Time slot.  62 Degrees with 94% Humidity- A beautiful morning and the rain stayed away.

Q: Cheap Seats, Barn Door, Gator and Blades of Glory

The PAX: Gator, Tom Tom, Kingsford, Nemo, Honky Tonk, Blades of Glory, Betamax, Black Lung, Barn Door, Aaron Wright (FNG Pampers), Patton, Al Boreland, Lemeau, Polka, Muffs, Straight Flush, Buzzsaw, and YHC Cheap Seats

I had more nervous energy for this workout than others in the past.  This workout seemed big and I didn’t want to screw it up.  Several people made this morning happen and I want to especially thank Blades for getting the coffee from Karma before the 7am group got done.  Blades not only got the coffee but completed half of the 5:30am games.  Vandelay and Wait time helped assist with the cones/exercises and also the Music – much appreciated!

Then we had our man Barn Door complete not 1 but both the 5:30am and 7am 1776 games.  T Claps to this HIM!

The 7am group saw the great crowd still competing the games from 5:30. The energy was electric to start this workout.

Cheap Seats greeted the PAX and recited our Mission as we traded off on the core principles.

The Mission of F3 is to plant, grow, and serve small men’s workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership.

5 Core Principles: 1) It’s free; 2) open to all men; 3) always held outdoors; 4) peer led in a rotating fashion; and 5) ends in a circle of trust.

Directions were given as to the format and structure for the CSAUP, and we started on our Mosey after listening to an edition of the Star-Spangled Banner.

Mosey: ½ Mile together

After mosey, PAX split evenly between the following 13 cones.  The group completed 25 reps of each exercise listed at each of the cones.  PAX stayed stationary at their cone for the entire 50 reps. Rotating leadership from one PAX at a cone going around the circle twice to complete.

50 Merkins

50 LBC’s

50 Cherry Pickers

50 Squats

50 Mountain Climbers

50 Plank Jacks

50 Lunges (25 each leg)

50 Overhead Claps

50 Scissor Kicks

50 American Hammers

50 Alternating Shoulder Taps

50 Bobby Hurley’s

50 Side Straddle Ho

Cheap Seasts gave directions about what would happen to complete the morning’s activities.  After completing the reps we ran the 2nd ½ Mile Mosey.  Upon return, the PAX divided into small groups, individuals, or pairs to complete the remaining sets of exercises

50 Sets of all previous exercises

COT:  Cheap Seats

Writing this COT I was focused on our country given it was the 4th of July.  My focus was on how great of a country we live in and how blessed we are.  You can get caught into “death scrolling” on social media and the US can seem like a shitty place but we live in the greatest country!  I transitioned this statement to a recent podcast I listened to that Barn Door sent me.  It was an F3 leader from North Carolina highlighting the F3 has no division, we welcome everyone no matter what political stance or background they have.  We don’t judge our fellow PAX, we encourage them!  This couldn’t be more true, I enjoyed many conversations with guys I don’t necessarily agree with but we are still friends and enjoy working out together.

He also made the comment that F3 can change the world and after thinking about the bold comment I completely agree with him.  We can change the world by inviting one more F3 guy to this group and introducing to the love and respect we have for one another.  If somebody hasn’t joined F3 yet it just means they aren’t ready!  Keep encouraging and leading by example and all the sad clowns will soon experience the glory that is F3.  One by one let’s change the world boys!

Enjoy a safe and happy Holiday Weekend.

Cheap Seats took us out in prayer
