Meet Expectations
I got a work review yesterday when I was deciding what to write for my COT, and I wrote Exceed expectations in all of the goals I had for my job. If you don’t know I just Started in March 22 this year and my goals were for the end of the year to be able to train the software functionality (wont worry you on the details) but I was able to do all the training by the end of July, in 5 months and 6 months before my end goal so to me I exceeded expectations. To my surprise my boss gave me a meet expectations review that was humbling to me. But his explanation was great. There is a reason he reached out to me and gav me this job, and is because of my potential and that I can do the job that he has hired me for. From that point on it was clear to me that I am meeting expectations not only in my job, but in my concentrica, My wife, my kids. Am I giving myself an exceeding expectations grade where I am just meeting expectations because this is what I am supposed to be doing as a father, husband,friend and leader. And yes sometimes we don’t have strength or think we can not do it anymore but I want you to remember in Ephisians 3:20 Paul tell us to pray in a certain way it says: 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Just ask him for the power to complete it.
