Pre-Thang: Pax moseyed to the picnic benches for 5 rounds of the following.
20 Dips, 20 Incline Merkins, 20 Squats. There was some mumble chatter as one pax said “not another
round”. Ketchup turned to me after the 4 th round and said I have a decision to make here. I said I’m
going to piss off the group and do one more round.
Mosey – Moseyed to the field just east of the flags for a partner grinder.
The Thang: There were 2 lights in the field about 100 yards from each other. We partnered up at the
north light which had the below exercises listed that were to be done AMRAP. One PAX ran to the South
light to do 15 squats and return to swap with their partner. Something cool happened here and the first
run group stayed in a group. Group two ran down and did the same by doing their 15 squats together.
There was more mumble chatter about squats and merkins. This continued till Omaha was called at
0606.

Once Omaha was called, we moseyed back to the flags and circled up in the parking lot for Mary.
6MOM: Fine Print lead us in 15 Flutter Kicks IC, Slow Pitch lead us in 15 each sid Knees to Elbow IC,
Frosty lead us in 15 Box Cutters and we finished with Rancid Style Hammers.
CoT:
Stay present. I find myself missing my son Gabe and my family who all live in Colorado. When I was
there last week sitting with my whole family and look up from my phone and see we are all on our
phones and realized I’m not present. I’m in the place and with the people that I wish I could be with and
I’m on my phone. I decided I need to be present and put my phone away and spent time with the people
I love.
Being present helps me be happier as well. If I am present, I’m not regretting the past or worried about
the future. When I get anxious or worried, I concentrate on staying present and keep my head where my
hands are by noticing my surroundings. Being grateful for what I have at that moment. Taking deep
breaths and telling myself I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be at that moment.
