AO – The Trident
Q – Ketchup
PAX: Mr. Myagi, Almost Famous, Room Service, Slick, Hoser (And Roadhouse for Coffee Only)
Q Kicked off the festivities promptly at 5:30 where we stated the mission statement, five core principles,
creedo and disclaimer. Q explained that this was the first time in over a year that he had been to the
Trident and the last time was an F’in disaster. So much running…hills…sprints…more running followed
up with some running. Only to be told that this wasn’t a running AO. Q decided everyone was a bunch of
liars and vowed to never return. Well…here we are…back and leading…and we are here to exercise
some demons…no idea why.
Q asked if there were any FNG’s and after discovering there weren’t, proceeded with Warm-a-Rama
Warm-a-rama
Side Straddle Hops – 15 IC
Michael Phelps – 15 IC
Yodel Thrusts with Eye Contact – 15 Ups
Groin Stretches – 10 – 3 second pulses
Tappy Taps – 10 IC
Once done with Warm-a-rama we moseyed to the parking garage to the ramp and the Pre-Thang
Pre-Thang –
The group circled up and instructions were given. One person ran to the bottom of the ramp, did 5
burpees and then ran back up the ramp to rejoin the group. While running, the rest of the group
completed the exercises at the top of the ramp. When the runner returned, the next person went and the
group continue with reps. Every person ran twice. Exercises were cumulative and listed below:
50 Monkey Humpers
50 Merkins
50 Rosalitas
50 Bobby Hurleys
50 Dry Docks
50 LBC’s
Once done with the Pre-Thang – we moseyed further south parking lot at the top of Devils Hill and did
some sprinting. The group broke into groups of 3 and 1 person ran to the end of the parking lot and back
while the other 2 planked. This was repeated until everyone had run. Then we cycled through it again,
only this time the group Al Gore’d while waiting for the runner. Once done, we ran down Devils hill to the
tri-faith circle for the Thang.
The Thang
Two stations were setup…one at the entrance and another at the other side of the circle near the
sidewalk to the church. A group of 2 PAX members ran to Station 2, completed 10 burpees and then ran
back to Station 1 while the remaining 4 PAX members completed the exercises listed on the sheet. Once
back, 2 new PAX members took off for Station 2. Everyone completed one cycle of running and then the
entire group ran together to Station 2, completed 10 burpees and ran back to Station 1.
All reps were cumulative and we went until Omaha was called. Exercises included:

75 Bonnie Blairs
75 Big Boys
75 Jump Squats
75 Rosalitas
75 Jump Tucks
75 Reverse LBC’s
At 607 Omaha was called and we moseyed up devils hill to the flags for 6 MOM.

Q’s personal favorite is 6 inches but he was exhausted so we did two rounds of American Hammers
Rancid style and called it a workout.

Ketchup discussed how it had been over a year since he had been to the trident for all the reasons that
he talked about during introductions. Yet with a little consistency and accountability, what was once
seeming impossible has been normal and something that isn’t as intimidating as it once was. Short,
sweet and complete and Ketchup took us out in prayer and we departed.
