COT – Pressure
I have been feeling a lot of stress and pressure lately. As I get older and more experienced, I’m learning to embrace it instead of running from it. The pressure has been at work, with budgets due, staff development, recruitment, retention, strategic plan development and overwhelming workloads. It’s also been prevalent in my personal life with my family and everything going on. It was there this weekend with the soccer team I coach.
Sometimes you surprise yourself with what you can do under pressure. Relish it, embrace it, own it, and if nothing else, learn from it.
Quote: “When we long for life without difficulties, remind us that oaks grow strong in contrary winds and diamonds are made under pressure.” ~ Peter Marshall
Prayer – Schrute took us out in prayer!
