I’m not able to make Q-Source today, but the topic is failure. I saw a quote from Tony Finau after he finally broke through and won a tour event that said something like “A winner is just a loser that kept on trying, and that’s me… I’m only here as a winner because I chose not to give up and keep trying.” Failure is inevitable in every area of our life – as a professional, as a dad, as a husband, and (for me) as a follower of Christ. As much as I understand and appreciate this, I still fear failure. For me it’s the fear of letting others down and diminishing their opinion of me. I think it’s important to know where and why we fear failure to give us perspective when it inevitably happens.
